I graduated from the University of Central Florida and hold a Master of Science degree in Counseling: Marriage and Family Therapy from Stetson University. I have practiced as a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist since 2007. I am a Daytona Beach native and am deeply rooted in the community. I have provided counseling to individuals, children, adolescents, couples and families both in private practice and in a residential treatment center for pregnant drug addicted mothers and their children. I practice holistic client centered therapy, teaching clients how to relinquish a thought system based on fear in exchange for a thought system based on love. I work with each client to develop a collaborative relationship and support clients in identifying goals, in developing the necessary tools to navigate change, reconnect with their authentic selves, and reclaim their personal power. I offer individual, couple and family counseling for issues related to interpersonal growth and relationship difficulties. This includes, but is not limited to, persons experiencing ADHD, addictions, anxiety, Asperger’s Syndrome, chronic illness, co dependency, depression, divorce, dual diagnosis, grief or loss, infertility, parenting, pre marital counseling, PTSD, substance abuse and trauma . Some clients choose to work on increasing their insight and awareness through individual counseling. In other cases, a family may be seen together for brief family therapy to learn how to change unhealthy patterns, resolve conflict and adapt to change. Additionally, I specialize in assisting trauma survivors navigate their way back to a place of safety within themselves and the world.
